Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee
The purposes and objectives of the Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee shall be: (A) To solicit from individuals and organizations requests or proposals to promote tourism in the county through advertising, promotion and providing those facilities and services which enhance the marketability of the county to attract and provide for tourists; (B) To conduct studies necessary to develop a recommended annual work program for submission to the County Council; and (C) To make recommendations to the County Council on the expenditure of all revenues generated from the accommodations tax as provided for under S.C. Code ยงยง 12-35-710 through 12-35-730.
